I feel blank. I have no desire to move forward, no desire to look back. I just want to sit in my backyard with a beer and not have the responsibility of this education and this debt on me. Right at this moment, I don’t want to be a doctor. I want to be 100% selfish and take a vacation to a place no one knows me, where there are no expectations of me, and I want to lay down in that place for a very very long time. 

Applications for residency open tomorrow and I am scared of what is to come, scared of losing what is comfortable. I can’t give an answer as to what I want with my life. Nothing concrete anyway, just that I want to be happy but what does that look like?
